The Master in Mougins

Meet the artist
Pablo Picasso discovered Mougins in 1936, during a stay at the Hotel Vaste Horizon, at the entrance to the village. Later, in 1961, he bought the Mas Notre-Dame-De-Vie, a haven of peace and inspiration nestled in the heart of the Mougins countryside. He lived there for the last years of his life before breathing his last in 1973. This period was particularly prolific on the artistic level.
This tour will tell you more about the intimate links that have been forged over the years between Mougins and the artist. It will take you from the old village where it all began to the outskirts of Notre-Dame-De-Vie…

The Treasure of Mougins

A fun visit for young and old
This is a great idea to visit the village of Mougins with your family or friends. Pick up your route book at the Tourist Office, Place des Patriotes, and wander through the squares and alleys to solve various riddles.
Once these have been solved, after 1½ to 2 hours of exploration, you can then open the box containing the treasure and discover the surprise that awaits you!

Times : Available during Tourist Information Centre opening times, Monday to Saturday from 10:00-13:00 and 14:00 to 17:30
Price: 20 euros per booklet for 6-8 people maximum. Recommended minimum age: 6 years
