Coming to Mougins by Plane

Located just 25 minutes from Mougins, Nice Airport is France’s leading international airport after Paris.

BY TRAIN:

The Cannes SNCF train station is less than 20 minutes from Mougins. The fast and express trains that stop there connect Mougins to all the coastal towns of the Alpes-Maritimes, to the French regions and to the major cities of Europe. The TGV takes you from Paris to Cannes in 5 hours. The other TGV stations on the Côte d’Azur are as follows: Monaco, Nice, Antibes, and Toulon.

The Côte d’Azur is connected to France and Europe by a major motorway network. The A8 freeway, from Aix-en-Provence in the west and the Italian border in the east, serves the Côte d’Azur.

BY BUS:

Several bus companies offer regular services to the Côte d’Azur and Cannes from France and Europe, including Eurolines, OuiBus or FlixBus.

From Cannes / SNCF station:

– Line 660(ZOU! / also connects with Grasse) orPalm Express B, regular services every day to the “Val de Mougins” stop.

– Once you’ve arrived at Val de Mougins, to get to the old village, cross the street and go a few metres further to the other “Val de Mougins” stop, where you can take line 26 or 28 (Palmbus) to the “Mougins village” stop (Monday to Saturday, 7.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., excluding public holidays).

– You can also walk up to the village from Val de Mougins (12 minutes) via Chemin de la Calade and Boulevard Clément Rebuffel. Signage has been put in place to guide you.

The line 29 links the Tournamy / Cœur de vie district to Sophia Antipolis.

Getting around Mougins and the surrounding area

SOFT MOBILITY: THINK BIKE! 🚲

When it comes to getting around or simply strolling, cycling is a must in Mougins! To facilitate this use, the destination boasts almost 40 km of cycle paths and lanes (see below or on the free mobile app Geovelo mobile app, which lists available cycle paths and facilities, the best routes and rides, as well as facilities and parking for bikes).

For its part, the Mougins Tourist Office has been awarded the “Accueil vélo provides visitors with :

→ Three bicycle racks installed in front of the office for secure parking.

→ A technical kit available at reception for small repairs or emergency repairs.

→ Maps of cycling routes, as well as all useful information for visitors by bike (accommodation, water points, nearby services…)
