It’s beautiful, modern, spacious and ready to welcome you! After several months of renovation, the new Mougins Tourist Office has opened its doors.
Located at the entrance to the old village, a few meters from the old address where the Post Office used to stand, the 200 m2 building has been completely redesigned and renovated, and is accessible on foot or by car. Here’s what you need to know:
► An improved welcome for visitors:
– The new space is designed to be warmer, more functional and accessible to all.
– A large boutique offers a wide range of locally-made artisanal products and souvenirs, showcasing the know-how of our territory. including Fragonard products!
– The building brings together reception and administrative staff on the same site, to further enhance the fluidity of exchanges and team dynamics.
► An attractive, functional exterior
– The forecourt has been completely renovated in a bucolic atmosphere with new plantings, a beautiful olive tree, perennial shrubs and window boxes.
– 3 parking spaces (blue zone), including one accessible to PRMs, are reserved for visitors just in front of the office.
– The façade has been completely renovated, with stone cladding in the Provencal style and an airlock for thermal comfort and security.
– An interactive terminal has been installed outside, enabling visitors to obtain tourist information even outside opening hours.
► A strong commitment to a sustainable destination
– Already rated category 1 and holder of the “Qualité tourisme” mark, Mougins Tourist Office is aiming to obtain the “Destination d’excellence” label as early as 2026. This new building will be a real asset in this process. It combines comfort, modernity and respect for the environment, meeting the criteria included in the specifications for sustainable development and accessibility for the disabled.
► A new olfactory identity!
The inauguration will be an opportunity to discover “L’Eau de Mougins”, the new olfactory identity of the Mougins destination. Created by Atelier C, a Mougins artisan who cultivates a sustainable and responsible ethic, the fragrances embody the soul of the village:
“Inspired by the natural beauty of Mougins, Eau de Mougins pays tribute to the luminous landscapes of the perched village, cradled by the Mediterranean winds. A fresh breeze opens the composition, followed by sunny notes of gourmet gardens. The heart of the fragrance reveals the nobility of the cypress trees lining the stone villas, while a woody base of olive trees, pines and salty air evokes the timeless elegance of this exceptional place.”
