Our quality policy to aim for excellence

Aiming for “quality”!

One day, in order to best welcome visitors from all over the world who flock to our beautiful village each year, the Mougins Tourist Office team decided to aim for excellence…. And to commit to a process guaranteeing better quality of service by acceding to the “Qualité tourisme™” mark.
To do this, the director, Muriel Grandjean, and our Quality referent (RAQ) Simona Demanche, set about imagining a “Quality” policy and launched the project.
Like a common thread, “Quality” had to be present everywhere from reception and information to communication, promotion, internal operations and management of the structure…
A vast project that mobilized the entire team for several months. On the agenda: diagnosis of practices, drafting of procedures, staff training, standardization of working methods and operations, assessment of public satisfaction…
Numerous efforts that culminated in Mougins Tourist Office being awarded the “Qualité tourisme™ ” mark in September 2016. We had this renewed in September 2019. A new renewal audit is scheduled for September 2024.

It should be noted that since May 2024, the new “Destination d’excellence” label has replaced the “Qualité Tourisme” mark. The aim of this reform is to raise the profile of the labels and make them more attractive to tourists and label-holding establishments alike.

 

The result?

The Mougins Tourist Office is working towards obtaining this new “Destination of Excellence” label, managed by Atout France. The new label takes up the essentials of the “Qualité Tourisme” scheme, in particular the guarantee of a high level of quality in the welcome we offer. It also raises the bar in terms of eco-responsibility and informing the disabled about the accessibility of the services on offer.

An award audit is scheduled for the first half of 2026.

Sustainable development & responsible tourism

The Tourist Office’s quality approach is closely linked to the promotion of responsible tourism, respectful of the natural environment and conducive to soft mobility. It is also perfectly in line with the town’s policy, which includes numerous actions in favor of sustainable development.
