The treasure of Mougins (treasure hunt in the village)

► Discover “The Treasure of Mougins” with friends or family: a fun way to discover our village in the footsteps of Gaspard de Besse…
► The PITCH: Half-bandit, half-justicier, the Provençal Robin Hood Gaspard de Besse is said to have once spent a few days in Mougins, leaving a large haul of loot locked in a chest. To open the safe, form your own team and, armed with a booklet, investigate his footsteps and enter the legend. Between visiting museums and wandering through the picturesque streets of Mougins, you’ll discover the charms and riches of our pretty hilltop village while having a great time!

Departure: departure & arrival at the tourist office
Times: available during Tourist Office opening hours.
Price: 20 euros per booklet for 6-8 people maximum. Recommended minimum age: 7 years
Duration: 1h30 to 2h

Panoramic view from the top

► As soon as the fine weather arrives, climb to the top of the bell tower of the Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur church, over 300 m above sea level. You’ll discover a 360° panorama, revealing the mountains of the hinterland as well as the Bay of Cannes and the Lérins Islands.

► Duration 30 minutes

► Rate: €5/person – free for under-12s

► April to June and September/October: daily except weekends.

► July and August: daily.

    Petanque with a view

    Throughout the year, the tourist office offers free pétanque boules so you can play on the beautiful Place des Patriotes and enjoy the sublime panorama of the hinterland. For the whole family to enjoy, there are triplettes for adults, and boules adapted to the youngest players!
